Slack Gateway

The Agent Jam Slack gateway brings your AI agents into the Slack workspace your team already lives in. No new apps, no context switching — just mention your bot and get to work.

How it works

Once you connect Agent Jam to your Slack workspace via OAuth, your configured agents become available as a bot user. You can:

• Mention the bot in any public or private channel to start a conversation
• DM the bot for private, focused interactions
• Use slash commands to trigger specific agent workflows
• Review tool outputs rendered inline as threaded replies or rich blocks

The Slack gateway respects your existing workspace permissions. You decide which channels the bot can access, and workspace admins retain full control.

Setting up

Navigate to Settings → Gateways → Slack in your Agent Jam workspace and click "Connect to Slack". You'll be guided through the OAuth flow to authorise the bot in your workspace. The whole setup takes under two minutes.
